Check the active bounties
Run /bounties to open the bounty board. Each entry shows the target's player head, the bounty amount and the player who funded it.
The board is for viewing active bounties. Clicking a head does not accept a contract or pay a reward.
Putting a bounty on a player
Use /setbounty <player> <amount> with the target's real Minecraft username. The target must be online, the amount must be at least $1,000 and you must have enough money to cover it.
You cannot place a bounty on yourself or add a second bounty to a player who already has one. The server also rejects new bounties when the board is full.
The full amount is taken from your balance when the bounty is created, and the server announces it in chat. Check the name and amount before sending the command.
- Open /bounties and check whether the target already has a bounty.
- Make sure the target is online and confirm their real username.
- Run /setbounty <player> <amount>, replacing both placeholders.
- Check the creation message and the updated board.
- Minimum
- $1,000 of server money.
- Funding
- Paid by the setter when the bounty is created.
- Target
- An online player, using their real username rather than a nickname.
How a bounty is claimed
A bounty pays automatically when the target dies and Minecraft credits another player with the kill. That credited killer receives the bounty money, and the bounty is removed after a successful payment.
If the payment fails, the killer receives an error message and the bounty remains active. Contact staff about the failed payment.
Bounties do not override land permissions, PvP protection or server rules. Bounty payments are separate from Mob Arena payouts.
Player heads from PvP kills
When another player is credited with a PvP kill, Chatter adds the defeated player's head to the death drops. Its name identifies the player, and its description records the killer.
A bounty is not required for this head drop. Other death or inventory protections can affect which drops reach the world.
