A tougher fight in the End
Mineplay's dragon rework makes this a longer fight. Newly spawned dragons have 1,000 health and take half damage from player melee and arrow attacks.
Explosion damage does not hurt the dragon, and beds cannot be placed in the End. Bring weapons and supplies for a direct fight.
- Dragon health
- 1,000 health on newly spawned dragons.
- Player attacks
- Melee, regular-arrow and spectral-arrow damage is reduced by half.
- Explosions and beds
- The dragon is immune to explosion damage. Bed placement is blocked in the End.
Starting the next fight
Use the usual four-crystal respawn ritual around the End's exit portal. A successful player-triggered ritual starts a one-hour cooldown for that End world.
The hour starts when the ritual begins, not when the dragon dies. The timer survives a server restart. It applies to crystals used for that respawn ritual, rather than unrelated crystal placements.
The server announces the remaining time every ten minutes and announces when respawning becomes available. Trying to place a respawn crystal too early shows how long remains.
- Check the latest respawn announcement before gathering for another fight.
- When the cooldown permits it, use the normal crystal ritual at the exit portal.
- Watch for the dragon-return announcement and prepare for the fight.
- Cooldown
- One hour from a successful player crystal ritual.
- Commands
- No custom player command is needed to activate the dragon rework.
